From February 20, 2026, due to the relocation of the JAL check-in counters at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX),check-in and checked baggage procedures only will be moved from Terminal B (Tom Bradley International Terminal) to Terminal 4.

Terminal change:
Terminal B (Tom Bradley) → Terminal 4

■ Check-in Counter Operations

・The number of counters will remain at seven, but they will be shared with British Airways.
・Counters are scheduled to open three hours prior to departure, but the number of available counters may decrease as time passes.

After completing check-in, passengers will need to proceed to the international terminal (Terminal B). Considering transit time, we recommend arriving early and checking in approximately three hours before departure.

■ For TSA PreCheck Passengers

Terminal 4 has TSA security lanes, including TSA PreCheck lanes; however, there are only two lanes available.
Depending on the situation, using the TSA lanes at the under-renovation Tom Bradley International Terminal (Terminal B) may allow for shorter wait times.

■ Other Notes

・JAL staff will be present at the airport to assist passengers for the time being.
・Only the check-in counter has changed. Departure and arrival terminals remain the same.

We kindly ask all departing passengers to confirm their check-in location and allow sufficient time to arrive at the airport.
